I too am wondering why I’m writing this in the third person, but here we are.

Bo, LA Native, son of a production designer, has been immersed in film since a young age.  As an actor he’s appeared in hundreds of spots and worked with directors such as Ian Pons Jewell, Sofia Coppola, Lance Acord, Tom Kuntz, Fredrik Bond and many, many more. No doubt it’s had a huge impact on his vision and style.

Bo’s acting background brings a unique ability to cast and get pitch perfect performances out of every actor he works with. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual and emotional storytelling, he’s a distinctive filmmaker crafting character driven work across commercials and film.

Somebody once called his work Bold yet Sensitive. He agrees.

He has crafted beautifully impactful films for brands such as Expedia, Everytown, Shorebirds, Uncommon Goods, Creighton University, Just For Dogs, and NFL Shop.

He’s also a human being and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son.

Bo does not like talking about himself in the third person, or honestly that much at all. He’d much rather discuss recent things that moved you, the meaning of life, or how on earth the Lakers got Luka.

Now that that’s out of the way, let’s make something meaningful that makes us feel things.

I know I know, you want to see the acting stuff. Ok fine, but don’t get distracted. This is about Bo Barrett the director, not Bo Barrett the actor.
